ECOFOREST IRELAND
Ecoforest cares for the future of our society by developing products that use renewable energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make our planet a better place. EcoForest has always been at the forefront, in terms of innovative, cutting-edge technology and exceptional performance.
Types of heat pumps
Geothermal - water-to-water
The ground source heat pump works on the principle of thermodynamics. For heating, it extracts heat from the ground and even from the water via geothermal boreholes and introduces it into the house. For cooling, it extracts heat from the house and transports it to the geothermal boreholes.
The most efficient geothermal heat pumps are the water-to-water heat pumps, so called because they extract heat from the ground via wells and transfer it to the water.
Thanks to the high performance of geothermal heat pumps, we can multiply electricity consumption by 4 and 5 (depending on the external conditions and the installation), i.e., with 1 kW of electricity consumed we can generate 4 kW to 5 kW of thermal energy.
Ecoforest have created the most complete range of geothermal energy on the market.
Aerothermal - air-to-water
The most efficient aerothermal heat pumps are the air-to-water heat pumps, so called because they extract heat from the air and transfer it to the water, unlike an air conditioner (air-to-air heat pump) that extracts heat from the air and transfers it to the interior through the air, being unable to heat domestic hot water (DHW).
Thanks to the high performance of aerothermal heat pumps, we can multiply electricity consumption by 3, 4 and 5 (depending on the external conditions and the installation), i.e., with 1 kW of electricity consumed we can generate 3 kW to 5 kW of thermal energy.
Ecoforest have focused their aerothermal range on air-water and monobloc style heat pumps.
Heat pump advantages
Carbon neutral
Renewable energy source
Reliable equipment
Heating and DHW
Low maintenance and low costs
The heat pump is based on thermodynamics, it transports energy as heat from one place to another.
